Starting September 28, 2011, the NJ QuitLine counseling services will be available to smokers who are uninsured or covered by Medicaid. Due to limited resources, the program is available to these populations only. We encourage all ineligible smokers interested in quitting to reach out to their health insurance carrier to determine whether they are entitled to covered counseling services and other smoking cessation resources.
